The Katana handle draws its inspiration from the Japanese sword — an object that has been refined over centuries to achieve a perfect balance between form and function. Like the katana blade, this handle is defined by a single, decisive line: clean, precise, and purposeful.

Yet where steel is cold, this handle is warm. The natural grain of solid Oak or Walnut softens the geometry, creating a piece that is both architecturally bold and deeply tactile — a handle you reach for not just to open a door, but because it feels right in your hand.

Crafted to order in our workshop in Spain, the Katana is available in solid Oak, Walnut, and Black Tinted Oak, in sizes from 35 cm to 240 cm.

Description

This wooden door handle from our new collection is crafted and hand finished with solid American Oak, American Black Walnut, and Black Tinted Oak.

Customizable finishes are available upon request. Our high quality wood enhances projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality, offering both form and function. Crafted in Spain from FSC accredited wood and finished with Rubio Monocoat oil, the handle is well suited for interior use. Custom size and laser engraving are available at our Madrid workshop; personalized measurements and axes adjustments are also options.

Designed for wooden, metal, or glass entrance doors, this handle is ideal for homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, and shops. Exterior use is possible with a marine finish (upon request).

Installation details

The handle is fixed to the door with an M8 Allen screw passing through the female threaded bushing inserted in the handle.

Care
Wipe as necessary with a soft cloth following the grain pattern, after removing possible abrasive dust particles. Wipe it periodically with a damp cloth.

Dry immediately with a soft cloth following the wood grains. Remove stains with a mild mixture of water and detergent. Furniture should not be subjected to excessive humidity, heat or direct sunlight. If the wood seems dry or whitish, apply any commercial wood oil, better transparent or yellow for oak.

Also apply oil to metal parts to prevent rust. When the oil is applied to the wood, the necessary amount is absorbed, remove the excess oil with a dry cloth after a few hours.
